This user has reviewed the following pubs:

Bridport Pubs : The Oddfellows Arms pub in Bridport
'A cracking little boozer this, very popular with the locals and has a good quiz on Sundays, also table skittles and darts matches regularly played. As this is a tied pub the range of beers are limited but kept to a very high standard. Palmers Copper ale and IPA are usually on draught as well as two lagers and Taunton traditional cider (sometimes known as screech) which is served through a beer engine. Very lively on a Sunday and most evenings'

Bridport Pubs : The Kings Head pub in Bridport
'This pub has recently changed hands to a couple who are new to the trade. They have really raised the standard of this nice village pub. This is a tied inn so only Palmers supplied beers are available. Regular beers are Copper ale, IPA, Guinness, Kronenberg lager, Carlsberg and Blackthorn cider. Non regular beers are Palmers 200 and Palmers Tally ho! which the landlord has told me they will alternate between the two. This pub consists of two bars, a public bar at the front and a pool room bar at the back. Like all good village pubs (it's really in Bradpole not Bridport but right on the border of the two) this is lively and has a good selection of pub activities also due to it's location it is eligable for both the Bridport league games and the Beaminster league. This pub has three dart boards, table skittles, pool table, and occasionally shove ha'penny. If you wish to take part in the quiz be there before eight thirty on Thursday night. This pub also does a good selection of home cooked food in the evenings and also a good Sunday lunchtime roast.'

Crewkerne Pubs : The Old Stagecoach Inn pub in Crewkerne
'This pub is best described as unique, as it must be the only place with a beer menu in the south west of England. Run by a Belgian couple this inn specialises in Belgian beers of all varieties, although mostly bottled there are usually four on draught as well as an Ale which varies and a selection of regular beers. Sorry to be vague but I have usually lost the power of speech when I leave this pub, the beers are very good can be very strong up to 13% and the food is out of this world. Some people describe Belgium as boring, this is probably because the Belgians are far too busy making fantastic beers and wonderful food to have time for other distractions. If you are is South Somerset, West Dorset or East Devon you must visit this pub!'
