Nantwich Pubs : The Red Cow pub in Nantwich
'The Red Cow is an authentic friendly little pub set close to the main shops in beautiful Nantwich. However, if you're looking for somewhere to stay for the night - your best bet is to try the Malbank, which is just over the road. The Red Cow's room prices are steep at sixty pounds for the night, and this includes breakfast. Unfortunately, I've found the RC's bar staff to be fairly miserable and the rooms somewhat grubby at times, cold and the breakfast not that fantastic. Everyone knows that a hotel or B&B has been used previously, but you don't really want to see physical evidence of this(If you know what i mean)!! I've found this to be quite sad when it's such a lovely pub with friendly punters. Better to try the Malbank (set at twenty pounds) although, not as modern, it's at least clean, and you can save your money for the shops AND have a decent breakfast! '

Nantwich Pubs : The Boot & Shoe pub in Nantwich
'The Boot and Shoe is always busy, and if you've ever been in you'll understand why. The beer is excellent, the prices are great and the pub in my opinion is one of the finest in Nantwich... if not the best! I started going to The Boot & Shoe around fourteen months ago, and since then I always pop in when I'm in town. My two favourite things about the Boot and Shoe are the Bar staff and the food. The owners are a great couple and this shines through the whole pub, it's staff and to it's customers. The food (and the service) is out of this world and you'll not get cheaper elsewhere for the quality and the quantity! (and you really need a good appetite, because there is a LOT of quantity!!) I recommend this pub to all my friends and anyone I meet in Nantwich. The food, the service, the ale... it's just one of those pubs that makes Nantwich what it is. Also, it's for the whole family too, as there's a great outdoor area and outside bar. Way too many things to say good about this pub - you have to go and experience it for yourself.'
