Wellingore Pubs : Red Lion Inn pub in Wellingore near Lincoln
'Wonderful watering hole and an oasis located in this beautiful Lincolnshire village. A haven of rest after thrashing the wee white ball around the local golf courses. The bar abounds with enthusiastic amateur golfers and vibrates with tall stories of birdies, bogies and pars. The food is excellent and wholesome, the bar staff are courteous and the clientele could easily be described as the salt of the earth. I would use the pub more often but my favourite pint of John Smiths cask bitter has been removed restricting my freedom of choice in ales. The Red Lion is well worth a visit you will find a warm welcome at this friendly hostelry. If you should visit please say hello to Malcolm, you’ll find him hanging on the wall just above the cash register.'
