Poulton-Le-Fylde Pubs : The Thatched House pub in Poulton-Le-Fylde 'The Thatched House is a busy pub in the centre of Poulton.The pub is very popular and has at least a choice of five cask beers at any one time.Ifind the pub very comfortable with good staff and prices have been kept lower than their competiters.' Poulton-Le-Fylde Pubs : The Edge pub in Poulton-Le-Fylde 'The Edge is more a nightclub than a pub,so being past the age of clubbing i can only report that it is very well used by the yonnger drinkers of Poulton.' Report
Thornton-Cleveleys Pubs : The Bay Horse Hotel pub in Thornton-Cleveleys 'This pub is in a very high catchment area,but over the past three years it has been run down by very poor and weak management.Staff are unsupervisedand somtimes unable to find one.The pub was closed for a few weeks for refurbushment and looks real smart outside.We gave it another try last evening inside it has been smartened up and they had my no1 caskbeer Timothy Taylors Landlord.Well that was what the pump clip said,but we got a pint of flat lifeless liquid with no head at all.No wonder the pub is empty.' Firgrove Pubs : Crown & Shuttle pub in Firgrove near Rochdale 'I was the tenant of this pub from 1967 to 1970,it was a great little pub owned by J W LEES of Middleton.The pub had a best room a lounge and a vault.I was very sorry to see the state it is now in,we had a pint each,and left with memories of how it used to be.' Fleetwood Pubs : Euston Taverns Ltd. pub in Fleetwood 'The NORTH EUSTON HOTEL is largest hotel in fleetwood.At the present time it is up for sale,the present owners having been here for about five years.There is a large lounge bar a ballroom,two restuarants as well as the bedrooms.The bar has four or five cask beers,but is very expensive.' Broughton-In-Furness Pubs : Manor Arms Hotel pub in Broughton-In-Furness 'I find this pub one of the best i have reviewed in the years i have been touring the north west.The landlord is always there to make sure the pubs running well his choice of cask beers is never ending,and they are always spot on.This is a pub not to miss when in the lakes.' Lancaster Pubs : The Green Ayre (Wetherspoon) pub in Lancaster 'As these type of pubs go,i find this and its sister pub just up the road very good value for money.They are better managed than the three in my area (the fylde)and the choice and qualty of beers is far better.' Report

Thornton-Cleveleys Pubs : Victoria Hotel pub in Thornton-Cleveleys 'The Victoria is a large pub in Cleveleys.It is a Sam Smiths managed house and sells good cask beer at £1-38p a pint.Food is available daily,and is busy on sunday lunch. The pub has quiz nights on thursday and sunday nights which are well atended.This is a well run pub, where you can have a good cheap well kept pint as good as any in the area were most are well over a pound dearer.
