Pelsall Pubs : The Fingerpost pub in Pelsall near Walsall 'very atractive canalside pub,with excelent views of pesall north common and lots of wildlife..Good service,friendly staff a very pleasent place to relax.Well done to the new owners for revitalising this loverly old pub>Just one thing they have flyers on the door saying that the pub is in pelsall,Brownhills. Brownhills is at least 2 miles from the pub so these flyers may confuse people as its not anywhere nr Brownhills,also how can the owners run a pub when they dont even know which town or village they are in!otherwise very pleasant,particularly on a nice night' Report

Four Crosses Pubs : Four Crosses Inn pub in Four Crosses near Cannock 'very wellrun traditional pub with a real old fashioned bar area ,nooks and cranies and an unspoilt atmosphere.Nice eating area and what must be the best value lunch and early evening menu as everything is just £1,evena well cooked roast lunch.Not massive portions but for a£,superbvalue.well worth a visit.Its haunted too!' Lichfield Pubs : The Kings Head pub in Lichfield 'A treat for both lovers of milletery history and beer drinkers alike!A cathederal city pub the likes of wich may be found in chester or york.Wonerfull old bars,good lunch time menu ive been visiting this pub for 20years and am still impressed.On my last visit the pedigree bitter was superb,service very good and the pub still unspoilt and maintaining a sense of its history.One for real pub fans' Report
Rushall Pubs : Manor Arms pub in Rushall near Walsall 'For lovers of unspoilt pubs the manor arms is a must for people in this part of the midlands.One of the oldest pubs in the area it is uniqe in having no bar,drinks are severd fromm pulls on the back wall,very good service and sunday lunch and a totaly unspoiled atmosphere,like a step back in time,wonderfull.' Wisbech Pubs : Three Tuns Inn pub in Wisbech 'unpretensious and traditional townpub,friendly and well looked after,bar and lounge look a bit like your grannys and i mean that in a nice way as its clean and wekk looked after.the landlady is verey proud of the newsmoking area which is very good with heaters and even fairy lights,very good!On alternative wednesdays its a very good quiz and a big plate of sandwiches for all the teams.very friendly and im told the steak night is very good.An unspoiled local' Report

Heacham Pubs : West Norfolk Hotel pub in Heacham near Kings Lynn 'nicepub in a seaside village,although not on the coast its on the way!Food very good,mushrooms withe stilton would have made a meal!The lamb chops which followed exellent.All veg fresh.Good pub,worht checking nout if nin the area.' Pelsall Pubs : The Old House At Home pub in Pelsall near Walsall 'with the demise of so many pelsall pubs,the free trade,the swan and now the bush,the old house seems to be doing verry well.Friendly,good service and food ok too.It replaced an old pub with the same name and isnt quite vintage,but its a good village pub and serves the local area well,penty of offers on food,currys etc.' Report
Guyhirn Pubs : The Oliver Twist pub in Guyhirn near Wisbech 'the last meal i had here was good,but not cheap.i liked the choice of fish with or without batter and had mine grilled with good veg.my pate starter was good but had been piped onto the plate and my dineing companions found this funy as it looked as though a dog had been in the kitchen if you get my point!!!.good,but food and drinks where not cheap.I was last here a couple of weeks ago and thegeneral view in the area is its good but not as good as prices sugest' Report
Walsall Pubs : The Green Dragon Inn pub in Walsall 'this is now closed, pity as a gerat fuss was made about its reopening a fwe years back as its by the old guildhall which a few years ago the council said was a great regeneration for the town.now they are regenerating other parts of the town so this area has gone back to being neglected and so the demise of a great town pub,such are the whims of our leaders piyy they cant respect a little heritage as this was a good market pub.Perhaos times have changed' Report
Walsall Pubs : The Rising Sun pub in Walsall 'This pub was known as the watering trough for many years and was justly famous for its mix of hippys,bikers,punks and everyone else!Its legendery staus is now a bit gone but its still popular with bikers and the odd hippy,now nearly 60!still good to go in now and again ,you can stll enjoy the traditional old pub decor of a town pub from yersteryear its faded but intact.A pub that has seen most of the alternative l ifestyes of the last 30 yrs make it their base,higate mild recomended' Report
Walsall Pubs : The Cuckoo & Bell pub in Walsall 'poped in for the soul disco and found a lively friendly pub. its been every thing over the years even a yates when they where just winebars selling cheap boze to the local drinkers and not a mega chain as they are now!Goodpub, it needs this part of town to be be developed or good placeseslike this will go.good new smoking area and music. suport it i say!!!'
