'I went recently on a Thursday (Jul 31, 8pm) and was surprised to see the car park nearly empty - which should have given us a hint!. It had changed hands 18 months before and the food choice and quality was more akin to the stuff you expect from a pub chain ... not the excellent menu and selection that Dave and Julie had set up. The staff were pleasant enough. However, I was looking forward to my 20 oz sirloin ...and my wife to her 8 oz fillet ... and both of us to the great mix of chips and roast that would come for the table. None of this is now offered. I did not like the mixed grill and my wife certainly did not like the vegetables that came with her meal. Pity ... why do things have to change? We will not go again!'
