Yoxall Pubs : The Golden Cup pub in Yoxall near Burton-On-Trent
'not a pleasant visit, proprieters didn't seem interested in 'serving' at all. all the tables in the dining room had reserved signs on them ? why. we asked about booking a table and were told we could as long as we were finished for 8.30p.m that would have been fine but we were not made to feel welcome at all. the golden cup is in a lovely setting with lovely gardens, in a very pretty village but we won't be going again particularly as the people with us had been in the pub trade all their lives so know how important first impressions are. '
