'The previous post by my relative covers most of our dissapointment however following a further meeting with the management the day after, I feel the need to add the following. Whether they claim the mix up over numbers was our fault or not, the quantity of food was not enough for 50 let alone 60. The quality was not worth the amount paid per head either. The management tried to claim that after the buffet a lot of food went back to the kitchen. When challenged on this they said a number of chicked wings had gone back uneaten. I agree that not all the chicken wings were eaten but this was because of their poor quality. Chicken is one of my favourite foods. When I went to the buffet after the queue diminished all that was left were some chicken wings and fishcakes. The fishcakes were quite nice but I only had one peice of chicken as it did not look very appealing. Eating it confirmed my suspicions so I did not get anymore. We were given a very hollow apology by a dismissive and to me anarrogant management.
The venue itself was fine and the restaurant food from what I saw looked nice so I would not cast doubt on its quality, but do be warned before booking a buffet.'
