Derby Pubs : Babington Arms pub in Derby 'The best Wetherspoons I have ever been in for choice and quality of real ale and not a bad price considering it is city centre.
Not a place I would go for a meal and the customers seem to have landed from a spaceship, however the staff are friendly and helpful and build a good atmosphere unlike most Wetherspoons.' Report
Derby Pubs : The Brunswick Inn Ltd. pub in Derby 'This pub is worth visiting for any real ale fan, its 2 mins down the road from the train station, the character/atmosphere of the pub is amazing and makes you feel welcome.
I visited this pub on a Saturday a year ago and it was packed with football fans as the pub is 10 mins away from pride park.
16 ales on offer and the manager Simon convinced me to try at least 8 of them! He and the staff were exceptional and the beef and stilton melt tasted superb.
Gem of a pub!!!' Report
Derby Pubs : The Brewery Tap pub in Derby 'I visited this pub in August as it has recently reopened, however looks and feels more like a wine bar than a pub, however the ale is very well looked after and served properly.
The choice of drinks and food is wide although over priced, the manager looked scruffy and tired and to have four staff on it took 10 mins to get served!!
Don't think I will visit again.' Report
