Derby Pubs : The Florence Nightingale pub in Derby
'The Florence Nightingale has been under new management since around June. The new Landlord is a friendly fella as too are the bar staff. There's disco/karaoke Thursday through til Sunday and it's busy without being packed. A decent selection of drinks is on offer as well as food served 12-7 daily. The "Flo" is an offical away supporters pub for Derby County FC home games as it is only a 2 minute walk from the train station. Sky Sports is also on offer. Of all the pubs in the Midland Rd area the Flo is widely recognised as the nicest. Excuse the picture as this must be a very old one. It now has new signage and the posters, banners etc are a thing of the past. I'd be quite happy to make this place my local.'
