Bishopstoke Pubs : The Anglers pub in Bishopstoke near Eastleigh
'The new licensees have now been at this friendly riverside local for just over a year. The food is excellent but not enough people know about it yet. We particularly recommend the Sunday roasts. The real ale which up to now has been Hopback Summer Lightening and Shepherd-Neame Spitfire is always kept well. A further guest ale is often available. A log fire is generally blazing away in the winter.The pub also hosts regular quiz nights and a variety of live music. '

Twyford Pubs : The Bugle Inn pub in Twyford near Winchester
'After having been closed for two years or so we were delighted when it was revamped and reopened and now boasts three local real ales as well as superb food.This pub is gaining a great reputation for its food but don't be put off from popping in if you just fancy a decent pint of Cheriton or Bowman ales.Service is always friendly and very attentive.'
