'My close friends are now the landlord and landlady of this pub and since taking over in Feb 05 have done a stirling job in restoring the reputation of this much-loved establishment.
As is always the case,when a longstanding landlord leaves a pub local scum 'try it on' and cause trouble-Mrs Hunter, the landlady,has barred 33 such people FOR LIFE and The Bath is becoming as busy and bustling as when Brian Minto had it.The meals are wonderful and Mrs H's home-made chips are second-to none.
She is also carrying on with the charity work of Mr Minto...so,Boris,with all due respect,if you do not like real pubs I suggest you stick to the Timepiece etc!!!!

'This is the biggest dump this side of the planet!!!It is always a bad sign when the landlady
wears slippers whilst 'holding court'.
When my friend and I returned our glasses to the bar and said 'thanks' we were met by a chorus of guffaws from a group of 'regulars' who had obviously never heard this word no more.
I will close there.
DO NOT GO....IT AIN'T SAFE.'

'Appalling.Flat,watered down beer that makes you ill,rude staff who have links with the local criminal element and on my last visit was pleased to see the local paedophile in there.Stinks like bottom of hamster's cage.In local paper recently report of woman being sexually assaulted in there.DON'T GO. '
