Bathford Pubs : The Crown At Bathford pub in Bathford near Bath
'What a pub. Being a real ale drinker it is nice to see that they have a good selection and talking to the staff they really do know how to look after it. My friends being lager drinkers are gushing about it also as they have Peroni on tap much cheaper than any of the other pubs in the area. There is generally an excellant selection of draughts. The food is par excellence to say the least. It was always good but the new Chef, Sean Thompson was happy to have a chat with us and has worked at some amazing places. The food is of extremely good value and is of as high a standard that I would expect to pay resteraunt prices. The service is superb also with intelligent, helpful and happy people working in the resteraunt and bar. If you get the chance, grab a Sunday lunch there also. When I was working abroad, I used to dream about the Crown roasts...............Uneblievable. I love this place.'
