'The New Welcome is a very small local that isn't easy to find unless you know where you are looking. As a part of the Thwaites chain it serves Thwaites cask bitter and the usual offerings. The snug surorundings are quite inviting, though the flashing lights above the bar should have been removed shortly after Christmas!'
