Keswick Pubs : Twa Dogs Inn pub in Keswick 'I recently spent a weekend in Keswick & found myself & family in the Twa Dogs - Big Robbie Burns connection (named after one of his poems) Friendly pub - home made food in generous portions - recommend the Gammon steak & the Cumberland sausage. Also the Jennings bitter was very nice. ' Report
Arnside Pubs : Fighting Cocks Hotel pub in Arnside near Carnforth 'Top pub with excellent food cooked by chef Neil. Well worth a visit' Report
Settle Pubs : Falcon Manor Hotel pub in Settle 'Comfortable bar on front of hotel. Well kept beer & bar food is always good value. Unusual shaped pool table for entertainment' Report
Embsay Pubs : The Cavendish Arms pub in Embsay near Skipton 'The catering has certainly improved over the last few months - I think they must have a new chef. Sunday lunch is excellent value. They have also got Sky in the tap room.' Report
Grassington Pubs : Devonshire Hotel pub in Grassington near Skipton 'Lovely old pub right in the middle of the village.Serves Black Sheep, Tetleys & Copper Dragon. Food is excellent value ( 2 courses for a fiver)Lots of comfortable seating - worth a visit.' Report
Otley Pubs : Junction Inn pub in Otley 'We went in the Junction on Saturday night & the Taylors Best Bitter slipped down a real treat. Every time I go in I am amazed that the beer is so good ( which is more than can be said for the curry next door which is markedly variable)' Report
Colne Pubs : The Alma Inn pub in Colne 'Had Sunday lunch here - good food at reasonable prices. Draught beer very palatable so al in all well worth a visit.' Report
Colne Pubs : The Hare & Hounds pub in Colne 'A Sunday lunchtime visit - had Taylors Landlord followed by roast salmon steak. Can't remember the pudding. Also it was raining - it always rains up there!' Report
Giggleswick Pubs : The Black Horse Hotel pub in Giggleswick near Settle 'Every time we go back to the Black Horse we are made to feel like locals. The food is always good & Rod fusses over every detail. Also lovely patio out back with the best space heaters in the north pennines. Make a detour next time you are up the A65!' Report
Skipton Pubs : Woolly Sheep pub in Skipton 'Despite a lively mixed crowd of drinkers when we went in plus the full range of Taylors beers and Copper Dragon on draught plus polite helpful barstaff I was disappointed with the best bitter which was not very well kept & the back room of the pub is gloomy and soulless.' Otley Pubs : The Royalty pub in Otley 'Nice pub in the middle of nowhere - on top of Otley Chevin - can get Taylor's Landlord, Tetleys & Blacksheep bitter.' Report
Long Preston Pubs : The Maypole Inn pub in Long Preston near Skipton 'Favoured village local with tap room, lounge & restaurant. Usually serves Timothy Taylors beer. 6 bedrooms if you want to stay the night. As the name suggets there is dancing outside the pub on Mayday.' Report
Kettlewell Pubs : The Raceshorses Hotel pub in Kettlewell near Skipton 'After 6 miles over Cam End I was looking forward to Sunday lunch. However the food was disapointing - minging portions of warmed up food with mass produced Yorkshire puddings - I felt conned - so much for working hard to keep customers!' Report

Skipton Pubs : Narrow Boat pub in Skipton 'Visited on a Friday night - the Narrow Boat is now completely no smoking. This means that there are no young people & that the atmosphere is that of a museum. Still the beer is excellent- visitors from Ossett brewery, Marston Moor, York Brewery, Moorhouses & Phoenix + the local Copper Dragon.' Report
