Bexleyheath Pubs : The Royal Oak pub in Bexleyheath 'I used to live opposite this pub, and it was a disaster. The owner (Len) rampantly hates anybody under 25, and regularly throws people out after a single drink simply because they're young. The weekly highlight is Morris Dancing out the front. I think that says it all!' Report
Bexleyheath Pubs : Robin Hood & Little John pub in Bexleyheath 'A real, cosy pub that serves traditional ale with a smile. Nothing trendy at all - just good old fashioned furnishings with a comfortable atmosphere.' Report
Bexleyheath Pubs : The Polo Bar pub in Bexleyheath 'Bexleyheath's teeny-bopper hangout, with a distinctly under-age clientele. A total disaster if you're over the age of 18 and want a good night out.' Report
London (W) Pubs : Fitzroy Tavern pub in London (W) 'Serving a wide range of European lagers (none of your usual drinks here), this pub has plenty of character and charm to make it a worthwhile visit.' Report
Sheffield Pubs : Fox & Duck pub in Sheffield 'Not a bad pub, but crammed full of first-year undergraduate students every night because it's next to a load of halls of residence. Too far out of the city centre to bother with on a night out.' Report
Sheffield Pubs : The Empire Bar pub in Sheffield 'One of the few pubs in Sheffield with a late licence - but personally, I always preferred the Casbah.' Report
Sheffield Pubs : The Lescar pub in Sheffield 'Considering that Sharrow is a total dump (I lived there for 2 years), this pub isn't too bad...but it's still only worth a visit if you happen to live very close by.' Report
Sheffield Pubs : Champs Sports Diners Ltd. pub in Sheffield 'The food here is a joke and well overpriced for what it is. Considering this pub is surrounded by great places to eat, it's a miracle it's still there.' Report
Bexleyheath Pubs : The Woodman pub in Bexleyheath 'A good, but small, pub next to a TA centre. Not particularly strict with ID - I was served from the age of 14 onwards when I was a Cadet. Beers are good, however, and prices are reasonable.' Report
Bexleyheath Pubs : Wrong Un pub in Bexleyheath 'Chantilly's right - another one of Bexleyheath's teeny-bopper bars. Always full of people, but a strangely sterile atmosphere. I'd rather go elsewhere.' Report
Bexleyheath Pubs : Rat & Parrot pub in Bexleyheath 'Not too bad by Bexleyheath standards, but still a bit crappy overall. Stop here if you're on a pub crawl down the Broadway, but don't go out of your way.' Report
West Malling Pubs : Five Pointed Star pub in West Malling 'This is what pubs should be about. Excellent range of drinks, comfortable surroundings, great atmosphere and great food. One of my favourite pubs anywhere - well worth a visit.' Report
Dartford Pubs : The Malt Shovel pub in Dartford 'A steaming pile of horse manure. Has a reputation as a pikey bar, and well deserved.' Report
Welling Pubs : Guy Earl Of Warwick pub in Welling 'A good local, and within easy reach of the football ground for half-time refreshment. Very popular at lunchtimes as well as evenings.' Report
Erith Pubs : The Running Horses pub in Erith 'Great location overlooking the Thames and nice outdoor area in summer. Range of drinks is fairly ordinary and prices are quite expensive. Good function rooms for private occasions.' Report
Sheffield Pubs : The Old Grindstone pub in Sheffield 'Full of students, which is great if you are one. But I'm not. I avoided this pub like the plague even when I was, though. You'll see why if you go there.' Report
Sheffield Pubs : The Slug & Fiddle pub in Sheffield 'A fairly average bar. Ecclesall Road has a reputation for nights out, but most places along it are very same-y. The Slug & Fiddle is just yet another trendy bar with little innovation or anything new to offer.' Report
London (WC) Pubs : The Jeremy Bentham pub in London (WC) 'An average pub with a large student clientele because of its proximity to UCL. Average range of drinks and comparatively high prices. Smells faintly (curiously) of vomit to me every time I go in.' Report
Richmond Pubs : The Red Cow pub in Richmond 'Great location and atmosphere, with cosy outside terrace onto the street, but ridiculously expensive for drinks. £2.80 for a Coke? £3.50 for a lager? Food was okay - nothing special - but I expected a bit more for my money. Perhaps the prices aren't *that* eye-watering in this leafy Surrey town, but certainly enough to make sure I didn't order more than one round.' Report
London (W) Pubs : The Town House pub in London (W) 'The first pub in Ealing that you're likely to stumble across if you're coming by tube...and it isn't a bad one to start off with. Arranged over two storeys, the Town House sits in a prominent position on Ealing Broadway, and is always packed in the evenings. Pool tables upstairs, and plenty of dining space mean there's probably something here for everybody. They serve a fairly standard range of drinks, with the occasional extra Fuller's special thrown in. Food is good - about standard for Ealing prices - and various promotions exist throughout the week. All in all, not bad - perhaps nothing that will make a memorable evening in itself, but one I find myself coming back to regularly as the start of a good night out.' Report
