Leicester Pubs : Black Horse Inn pub in Leicester 'A nice local pub that is nice enough to go for a drink on your way into town or to bring the kids along to play in the pub garden on a sunday eve. I has a skittles alley (butyou need to be in a team) and weekly pub quizzes and Evarards guest ales. The staff are nice and polite and there are regulars who seem to live perched on the bar. Nice traditional pub, 2 mins from the Grand Union Canal.' Report
Oadby Pubs : Grange Farm pub in Oadby near Leicester 'I go here because of the nice food - not the drink. The pub/restaurant is a converted farm/stable so is quite nice and cosy in the winter...dark and gloomy in the summer.' Report
Oadby Pubs : The Oadby Owl pub in Oadby near Leicester 'Average pub - and yes you cant get on the pool tables ever.' Report
Leicester Pubs : Fat Cat Cafe Bar pub in Leicester 'Nice trendy bar, comfy leather seats but EXPENSIVE and no Jack Daniels only Jim Beam - shocking (grumble), nice pub gardebn but its not big enough. Sometimes its full of posers who just sip and stare...but not as bad as the Terrace (pub)!' Report
Leicester Pubs : Firebug pub in Leicester 'A nice pub where anything goes, used to be a rock pub but closed, re-vamped and softened its tone with plants and comfy chairs (though not enough). A relaxed and friendly feeling with resonable priced drinks and good music (alternative - but no too hard for you townies!). My only problem is the severe yellow lighting behind the bar - its just wrong!' Report
Leicester Pubs : Globe Hotel pub in Leicester 'This has always been one of my favourite pubs of the past a hidden traditional gem in the heart of Leicester but of late i dont think they've had many people in and the've put the prices up and taken the juke box out and well its just not as good as it used to be, but still nice to pop in once in a while.' Report

Leicester Pubs : Slug & Lettuce pub in Leicester 'The kinda pub where rowdy hen-nights / work-do / stag nights start. Always crowded and always a wait at the bar. An ok pub but nothing special.' Report
Leicester Pubs : Local Hero pub in Leicester 'Avoid at all costs - flat beer and lukewarm food with kids running around leaving trails of squashed sweets in the carpet. Rude staff. Turn around and walk 100 yards to The Counting House and consider yourself having a lucky escape!' Report
Leicester Pubs : Sumo pub in Leicester 'A nice pub, a tidy walk from town but nice open plan design with tables and chairs in a courtyard and seating upstairs and downstairs. Usually playing chilled out music and the staff serve you in a friendly and chilled out manner. Reasonable priced - only complaint 1 male toilet and 1 female toilet cubicle - NOT ENOUGH!' Report

Leicester Pubs : The Dry Dock pub in Leicester 'I'd recommend peopleto go just for the novelty of it. Its a pub shaped as a boat on sopme gravel - hence a dry dock! Its part of 'its a scream' chain so theres usually some cheap drinks offers on. Its nicer in the day/eve but lacks atmosphere later on as people usually abandon it between 10-11pm. Some outdoor seating outside. Nice pub.' Report
Leicester Pubs : Lloyds No 1 pub in Leicester 'Ok if you go for one drink but dont stay there too long or your life force will drain away....' Report
Leicester Pubs : The Counting House pub in Leicester 'I love this pub. Nice friendly staff. Reasonable drink prices. 2 pool tables, games machines and now new PUB GAMES - huge jenga and connect four! The second part of the pub is like a large conservatory and can be hired out but usually has live tribute bands playing and late licenses up to 1am. Nice atmosphere and good music. (but dont go there on Leicester match days!)' Report
Leicester Pubs : The Cricketers pub in Leicester 'Ok, a bit drab and quiet. You can never get to play in the pool room either. I wouldn't go out my way to drink there but if your by it...its ok and inoffensive.' Report

Leicester Pubs : Molly OGradys pub in Leicester 'Allways crowded and lively...but can get too crampt!
