This user has reviewed the following pubs:

Farnham Pubs : The Queens Head pub in Farnham
'This used to be a great pub. Always liked the Gales beer. On recent visits the beer has been terrible because they are just not moving it (vicious circle!). Worse than that they have started to fob off customers with excuses that the real ale is cloudy because of an over-cold cellar. Doesn't excuse why it tastes like vinegar. The place needs a decent clean up, decoration and proper ventilation. At the moment the clientele are fairly low-life as well. A real shame for whay should be a superb central pub.'

Farnham Pubs : The Jolly Sailor pub in Farnham
'A place that has seen a fair number of changes. Has been a rough boozer, gay venue and student hang-out. Not a bit of a rough old boozer again. Beer (Greene King) was OK on last visit but couldn't hear myself think due to big pull down screen showing sports to an empty bar at loud volume. One that could end up converted to a house I suspect. Sad.'

Wrecclesham Pubs : Bat & Ball Inn pub in Wrecclesham near Farnham
'Recently refurbished, Now owned by ex-landlord and landlady of the 'Woolpack' in Elstead. An excellent pub. good food and beer. Very popular. Has a lovely garden and setting. A real gem.'

Farnham Pubs : The Wheatsheaf pub in Farnham
'No reverted to the 'Wheatsheaf' name thank God. Good real ale venue with live music. Worth a visit.'

Farnham Pubs : The Alma pub in Farnham
'Recently taken over by a new landlord. Has improved the beer quality. A bit of a boozer but pleasant enough. Greene King IPA.'

Wrecclesham Pubs : The Sandrock pub in Wrecclesham near Farnham
'A recent discovery for me. A total ral ale mecca. Unspoilt pub with excellent food and beer. Good chatty locals and friendly staff. Highly recommended.'

Farnham Pubs : The Seven Stars pub in Farnham
'A pub that was once a lovely place. Now distinctly run down and populated by undesirables. Beer was lousy on my last visit as well. Lovely building but just a tragedy as to how good pubs can be ruined by thoughtless breweries and bad management.'
Report

Farnham Pubs : The Marlborough Head pub in Farnham
'Lovely looking building from the outside. Unfortunately the oub has decided to take the role of drinking den for all the meatheads sho have been barred from nearly everywhere else. Pretty young and aggressive male clientele. Slot machines everywhere and live sport shown so loud you can't hold a conversation. To be avoided.'
Report

Farnham Pubs : The William Cobbett pub in Farnham
'The Cobbett never changes! Big student following. Always busy and always interesting. Good selection of beers and food. Gets rammed at weekends and helps if you're a rocker/goth orientated. Large pool rool upstairs and plenty of space out at the back.'
