'Enormously improved restaurant - I ate there about 3 months ago and it was just average - it's dramatically better now. Fantastic food, really never seen before in Lancaster - every dish is a work of art - I heartily recommend this place, I've been waiting for something like this to arrive in Lancaster for years. Didnt really venture into the bar, however it seemed to have a simple but very modern style to it. Oh - the bar was absolutely packed - this place is getting busy !'

Aldcliffe Lance Pubs : The Waterwitch pub in Aldcliffe Lance near Lancaster
'Probably the most famous pub or restaurant in Lancaster - I often go on the way back from work (the hospital) and it's always busy. It's become an institution in Lancaster and it seems to be constantly changing - the best pub food you could possibly imagine and one the prettiest bars around.'

Lancaster Pubs : The Sun Hotel & Bar pub in Lancaster
'I refused to give this place any higher than an 8 because I like to be different... That said, it is a stupidly busy pub that is full from 7pm to 11pm every night. Husband has just discovered this place and thinks it's "special. Very stylish, pretty bar that just needs to be bigger.'
