Luton Pubs : Bat & Barrel pub in Luton
'Friendly little pub, once you've got used to the landlord's sense of humour! Sky Sports on big screen without huge crowds. Decent pint.'
Report

Luton Pubs : Hibbert Arms pub in Luton
'A bit "out of the way". If you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't find it by accident. A cosy little boozer with friendly staff and customers. Sky Sports.'

Luton Pubs : The Brewery Tap pub in Luton
'A cosy enough pub, but lost some character of late. Seems to cater more for students these days.'
Report

Luton Pubs : The Leicester Arms pub in Luton
'Little atmosphere; poorly staffed (on last visit); nothing at all special about the pub. The restaurant is worth a visit, though.'
Report

Luton Pubs : The Chequers pub in Luton
'A good "local" pub. To be re-opening soon under new management. Was always a pub for doms, darts, karaoke, quizzes. A pint of Guinness was 40p cheaper than the rest. Watch this space.'

Chester Le Street Pubs : The Butchers Arms pub in Chester Le Street
'Great little pub; cosy, friendly staff and customers (North East, of course) real ale. All you want really.'
Report

Toddington Pubs : The Fancott Arms pub in Toddington near Dunstable
'About as good as it gets. Just what you want in a good old English country pub. Stone floor, log fire, low ceilngs (mind your head): Cosy, friendly; nice reataurant;really big back garden( they have bands on in summer). The only drawback is it's a taxi job.'

Luton Pubs : Bat & Barrel pub in Luton
'One of the dirtiest pubs on the planet. No hot water (hardly call it running water); rarely any soap or hand towels. Often no toilet paper. The tenant is a miserable money grabbing, "Brit hating" plastic Pole. The regulars deserve better.'

Luton Pubs : The Windmill pub in Luton
'This pub is a bit special. The warm and friendly atmosphere hits you as soon as you walk through the door. It is run by a nice Thai couple and the Thai barmaids, in traditional Thai dress, greet you with a plate of prawn crackers when you place your order. Ales include Greene King IPA and London Pride. There is a nice restaurant section too serving Thai food and you can also get chips!. Not tried the food yet but have only been in twice to date. That will change!'

'Have tried the food since my last post on here and it is excellent; very reasonably priced too. For a quick bar snack I would recommend the "mixed starter" - Very nice. '
