One wall is covered in old posters for pub music acts, whilst the tower at the south-west corner was originally a brewery.' Report
Sowerby Bridge Pubs : The Moorings pub in Sowerby Bridge 'This brilliant conversion of an old warehouse building (note the iron columns, timbers and other features) has resulted in a venue that's popular with young people and families. The curious 'mural' on the outside shows timber-framed houses, even though the village is made of stone.' Report
Cragg Vale Pubs : Robin Hood Inn pub in Cragg Vale near Hebden Bridge 'A small unspoilt roadside pub in the delightful Cragg Vale. Food is also available, but not on Mondays.' Report
London (W) Pubs : The Dove pub in London (W) 'This very old riverside building is reached via a narrow passageway located opposite William Morriss's Kelmscott House. The main bar, level with Upper Mall, is totally unspoilt, with another small room to the right. All black, brown and pleasingly scruffy, this is a heaven to while away a few hours sipping pints of the superb Fullers ESB. Above the fireplace there's a fascinating list of famous vistors, many from the nearby Riverside Studios. The upper area, used mainly for eating, leads onto a riverside balcony. Don't miss this pub. Spend some time savouring it. Few gems like this remain in our modern world.' Report
Linthwaite Pubs : The Sair pub in Linthwaite near Huddersfield 'A real gem of a pub, full of amazing curiosities spread over four rooms. Fortunately, it doesn't seem contrived, the objects seemingly accumulated over many years. And the beer, all brewed on site, is to die for. I found the 'Leadboiler' (5%) utterly stunning. This is about as close to 'pub heaven' as you'll ever get.' Report
Worsthorne Pubs : Crooked Billet Inn pub in Worsthorne near Burnley 'A lovely-looking pub, with original glazed tiles near the entrance, together with what appears to be the original floor, a semi-enclosed bar with decorative glasswork and other old features. There are some later additions, but these are all perfectly in character. Although apparently a Tetley's house, they were dispensing an utterly wonderful Copper Dragon real ale at the time of my visit. Food is also available. Well worth a try!' Report

This pub has received accolades from the local branch of CAMRA, so you'd better get down there soon!' Report
