Walton-On-Thames Pubs : The Bear pub in Walton-On-Thames 'Nice local pub just off the high street with one real ale London Pride witch was fine. At lunch time it is mainly OAP's in here as they offer cheap smaller portion meals. In the evening it is more your regular drinkers. They do have a big screen and sport can be seen here.' Report
Walton-On-Thames Pubs : The Swan pub in Walton-On-Thames 'Large 3 bar Young's pub on the River Thames. The only pub in Walton that still has a Saloon and Public bar also a no smoking family room. There is a large garden which is very popular in the Summer at it leads down to the river. Not so popular in the Winter with a mix of regulars and local office staff. The real ale was a tad warm for my liking but otherwise ok. Good selection of Youngs bottled beers which were as usual very good. Reasonable food menu with a specials board.
My only reservation is that the food and drinks are on the pricey side.' Report
Yarnton Pubs : The Grapes Inn pub in Yarnton near Kidlington 'This pub is now called the Turnpike. It is more geared up for food than drinks. They do sell two ales Adnams bitter and Tetleys and on trying the food it was nice. If you require the toilet here be prepared for a long walk. They have a beer garden behind which would be a nice setting in the summer.' Report
Yarnton Pubs : The Red Lion pub in Yarnton near Kidlington 'I like this pub and has become my local while working in the area. It has four quality real ales on all the time and the homemade food is very nice. They have a pool table big plasma screen which they show all the big football matches. There is a separate non smoking family area which they have various games to keep the kids busy. There is also a beer garden with a kids climbing frame. Worth a vist if in the area.' Report

Oxford Pubs : The Trout Inn pub in Oxford 'The setting is perfect by the river a postcard setting. But the pub is sadley let down by the limited menu, I was so looking forward to some nice fish (seeing as the pub is called the Trout)but all they had on the menu was Scampi and fish and chips.
The beer was acceptable, I will visit again not for the food but the postcard setting. Sort your menu out.' Report
