Isleworth Pubs : The Castle Inn pub in Isleworth
'Walking the dog from Brentford to Richmond and happened to spot this place (my companion needed to use the loo!) at about the halfway mark. We got a lovely warm welcome and found that the dog was welcome too (as were three others while we were there). We happened to be more in need of a cup of tea (and it was a lovely brew) than a beer on this cold afternoon, but I really liked the feel of the place. It had a bit of an 'old man's pub' feel to it (in the nicest possible way), a pool table and a dog-friendly policy, which is enough to put it in my good books!'
