Godalming Pubs : The Cricketers Inn pub in Godalming 'This has been a great pub for some time. Sadly, the last year has seen the agreeable ambience undermined. Regrettably, after many years enjoying this establishment, we are now forced to go elsewhere. There is a lack of care with the beer itself made worse by a management that is, more often than not, plastered itself (with all those other unpleasant ramifications).' Report
Godalming Pubs : Kings Arms Royal Hotel pub in Godalming 'The Kings Arms building is a fabulous old coaching inn with bucketloads of history. Not only did Peter the Great and Henry VIII stay here but also convicts on the way to Portsmouth and then Australia! Sadly, despite the staff trying very hard, the clientele are such pondlife that the place has become the khazi of Godalming. It is such a great shame.' Report
Godalming Pubs : Richmond Arms pub in Godalming 'The Richmond Arms comes close to being the hub of the Godalming community. The Landlady is delightful, serves fabulous food and acts as a surrogate mother for many of her loyal customers! This is the sort of pub where people might feel comfortable to visit alone.' Report
Aberdeen Pubs : The Moorings pub in Aberdeen 'I used to go to the Moorings in the eighties. On a pub crawl it was the only place that we simply had to visit every time. It is difficult to remember just why other than the priceless atmosphere! They were the only pub in Aberdeen to have Hawkwind on the jukebox and they even managed to cram bands in occasionally. A friend is now living in Aberdeen, years after me, and I'm pretty sure it's her favourite too. Highly recommended.' Report
Rudgwick Pubs : The Thurlow Arms pub in Rudgwick near Horsham 'It is open although we unfortunately arrived just as it was shutting at 3pm yesterday. This is certainly worth bearing in mind if, like us, you have cycled up from Godalming and are gagging for a pint!' Report
