Kingston Upon Thames Pubs : Park Tavern pub in Kingston Upon Thames 'I went on a Friday evening and quite frankly I thought this pub was a health hazard. it was like walking into a fog there seemed to be no extractor fans and there certainly was not a no smoking area. The owners are living in the past for this aspect. They do have a good range of beers but I found the atmosphere very unpleasant a left as soon as I had finished my drink. if you are a non smoker you will not like it here.' Report
Kingston Upon Thames Pubs : Albert Arms pub in Kingston Upon Thames 'A "Youngs" pub serving well kept beer situated on Kingston Hill. This traditional hostelry has a nice atmosphere and serves excellent food. the service is average. ' Report
Richmond Pubs : Hand & Flower pub in Richmond 'I have been visiting this pub for many years and it has recently deteriorated beyond recognition. They don't know how to keep beer which is lousy, OK if you are a Guinness drinker. The service is terrible and staff do not care less when complaining about the beer. It is generally dirty and despite recent recommendation still allows customer to smoke at the bar, which usually means smoke in your face when ordering. Nowadays one to avoid.' Report
Richmond Pubs : White Cross Hotel pub in Richmond 'Excellent pub, well kept beer and good service. A nice atmosphere with excellent food. Down by the river which is especially nice in the summer. Attracts the more mature customers and discourages the larger lout brigade.' Report
Kingston Upon Thames Pubs : Willoughby Arms pub in Kingston Upon Thames ' A real ale drinkers paradise. Great beer excellent variety. A small pub attracting mainly male beer drinkers which is its main attraction.' Report
Kingston Upon Thames Pubs : The Cardinal pub in Kingston Upon Thames 'This is a "nothing" pub lacks atmosphere and generally has tired feel about it. In need of a complete revamp. Beer average and I would only go here if desperate.' Report
Byfleet Pubs : The Plough pub in Byfleet near West Byfleet 'A wonderful pub selling a great range of real ales. A good no smoking area and the pub is a mobile phone free zone. The staff and service are excellent and there is a great atmosphere here. Attracts all ages from 25 and above. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.' Report
Chessington Pubs : The North Star pub in Chessington 'The food in here is superb. A good range of real ales and lagers. The pub is comfortable and has a good atmosphere. The service is friendly and first class. Avoid Tuesday evenings when very crowded as what can best be described as a "Fun Quiz" night amateurly run. ' Report
Horsell Pubs : The Red Lion pub in Horsell near Woking 'A very average pub that tends to get smokey. It is OK but nothing special. It does however have a good restaurant which tends to be a little expensive.' Report
Teddington Pubs : Tide End Cottage pub in Teddington 'A lovely little character pub. small and cosy serving excellent beer with friendly and quick service. A real traditional old fashioned hostelry that to me has nearly everything. ' Report
Richmond Pubs : New Inn pub in Richmond 'The New Inn is a traditional English pub that has not been "plasticated". You can hold a conversation here without music blasting out. The service here is efficient and friendly with all the staff being smartly dressed. There is a good selection of real ales here and also some good wines. The food is excellent albeit a little expensive. It is disappointing that they have not followed some of their competitors lead and not banning smoking at the bar. I found the short wait to be served unpleasant as customers were sitting on the bar stool smoking. This issue could easily be solved at this outlet by reversing the smoking and non smoking areas thus making the bar area a smoke free zone. Other than this point the New Inn is a well run, lovely pub certainly worth a visit and it is clean.' Report
Esher Pubs : The Bear pub in Esher 'The Bear is a very pleasant pub that has not given way to laying loud music so you can hold a conversation here. The beer is well maintained and also a good range of wines. I found it comfortable and the food here is excellent. Generally attracts all age ranges but manages to keep out the binge younger element drinkers. ' Report
Richmond Pubs : Brittania Public House pub in Richmond 'A pleasant pub in the centre of Richmond. A nice friendly environment serving food lunch times. Non smoking area upstairs. Good service beer choice limited.' Report
