Ince Pubs : Walmsley Arms Hotel pub in Ince near Wigan 'the walmesley is a traditional locals pub but with plenty going on. The pub is ran by landlady Annette, and her husband Tom, along with their 3 daughters and two dogs. Ther is always plenty going on. Monday night is mens darts and doms, tues is ladies darts n doms, wed is usually quiet, unless football is on the big screen. Thurs is pool night, along with a free to enter weekly quiz, played for fun but where you can win a gallon of beer. Fri & Sat is either karaoke or a live artist, Sunday 6pm prize bingo and evening at 9.30 its a free supper for everyone, followed by karaoke. The pub sells camerons creamy bitter, marston fc bitter, mansfield dark mild, extra cold guinness, fosters extra cold, carlsberg extra cold, carling extra cold, stella, woodpecker cider and there is always a choice of at least two different cask ales. The pub only opens at 7pm Mon - Fri, but does open at 12 Sat & Sun. There is sky tv and the locals will watch anything that moves so long as it involves some kind of sport. This is a family based pub and kids are allowed in with full parental supervision usually till around 7.30pm[ish]Annette & Tom will not tolorate any kind of drug activity or trouble from locals nor visitors. This is a good clean living local and a place where you can relax and unwind at the end of a busy working day.' Report
