Sandwich Pubs : The Market Inn pub in Sandwich
'This pub use to have two excellent chefs working at it and did really good Sunday Roasts, howver one of the chefs left. When the old chef is working the food is excellent. However when the landlady or the other chef is working the food is terrible. This pub does has trouble (ie fights on a regular basis, the landlord even got beaten up). The landlord isn't there a lot of the time and spends a lot of his time getting drunk at the bar or he is over the bookies. They didn't have Spitfire (the main Real Ale) for 3 days last week. The waitresses are all teenage girls who look like they don't want to be there. The food is delivered from a dumb waiter and half the time the waiteresses don't listen out for it, the chef (the good one) has to come downstairs a lot of the time to get the waiteresses to deliver it. Going downhill very fast.'
