'Queens Head Pub now has new owners. The chef has stayed on so the food is excellent as always, better in fact as the menu is now more varied. Try the "Curried Goat" a recipe from Jamaica! The Carling lager is very good. Still friendly customers and the bar staff are very helpful.'

Prestatyn Pubs : Ffrith Hotel pub in Prestatyn
'The carling cold is cold (as it should be! LOL!). The service is good. Very quick to serve you your drinks plus all the beers are discounted. When i went there (afternoon) it was mainly a family style customer set-up but still a good atmosphere to the pub. Didnt have any food but from what i saw it was good but basic food (fish and chips,etc.). Good portions. '

Mold Pubs : The Britannia Inn pub in Mold
'Pub now reopened. Small pub feels like your sitting in your front room but friendly enough customers. Standard beer. Ok for a few beers to start the night.'
Report

Mold Pubs : Y Pentan pub in Mold
'Pub appears to be clean. Good range of drinks available. My fav. has to be the Kronenberg. Always excellent. Y Pentan merges between a trendy pub and traditional. Similar to Y Delyn wine bar in Mold in terms of atmosphere. Young and old alike here. No chavs allowed (dress code). The current owners has put a lot of thought into this pub and it shows and pays off well. This pub was once known many years ago as the Cross Keys (red leather/vinyl seating).'
Report

Northop Pubs : Red Lion Restaurant pub in Northop near Mold
'Pub has recently changed owners after being shut for a few months (plus a refurb). Standard beer but lager is nice and cold. I have only been at the bar side of the pub but even that is like being on the moon (no atmosphere)but hey maybe over time that will improve. 50/50 on the customer service depending on who is serving you. As far as clientele are concerned it appears to be just locals at the moment. On the plus side of things the new owners appear to have got rid of the trouble makers.'
