Settle Pubs : Royal Oak Hotel pub in Settle
'Visited for a weekend away February 2006 but never again. After being shown to our room which looked nice at the first glance that was the total input from the owners. The bed was clean and comfortable and the room had just been decorated but it was dirty around the edges of the room.We were never asked if things were Ok and we were totally ignored by the landlord and landlady for the duration of our stay, not even a goodmorning or a hello or goodbye. The bed was not made , the cups were not changed, the bin was not emptied, the towels were not changed. The staff were miserable and unhelpful. The food was dreadful. Music was on loudly until 1.00am in the morning under our room both friday and saturday nights. We would recommend it. NO WAY!!'
