Northowram Pubs : Queen Victoria pub in Northowram near Halifax
'Excellent pub. Meals 7 days a week lunch through til 9 oclock. Thai food as well as English. Special meals for pensioners in cluding Thai food £3.25 plus loyalty card. 6 meals - 7th free. Also lunchtime special prices also including Thai. Sunday lunch all afternoon. Live acts Wednesday Friday and Saturday. Highly recommended'

Allerton Pubs : The Reservoir pub in Allerton near Bradford
'The Reservoir had been allowed to run down by the old landlord and needed sprucing up. The new landlord 'Charlie' is well known from Bradford city centre pubs. He has had the pub redecorated but still keeping the traditional pub atmosphere. He has a range of beers on sale including handpulled Tetley's and two guest real ales. Now it is definitely a pub for the traditional drinker. Warm and friendly and no juke box!! The beer garden at the back has been cleaned up also so there is space for families with children. This is recommended as a haven from the new style drinking bars.'
